Awakening Your Inner Artist
Adults and children all have the urge to paint and draw, but don't often have the opportunity to do so. Creativity is a natural urge, and Linda can help people to access their inner artist through the act of painting and drawing. It's easy to awaken an artist that has gone to sleep. All that is necessary is to have some paints, brushes, crayons and paper, and the inner artist comes alive! In Awakening Your Inner Artist, students will enjoy the magical qualities of watercolor paints. In addition, participants will explore other media such as oil pastels, markers and wax. All ages are welcome in this program, from young children to elders. (left) young painter from Jarvis Heights, Holyoke, MA |
Exploring creativity with Beading
What could be more fun or more satisfying than creating your own necklace, bracelet or earring from glass beads, shells and other colorful materials? This one session class introduces you to beading and provides all the materials to make your own jewelry. We use special thread for beading onto which we string tiny seed beads, glass beads, bone and iridescent beads. Exploring Creativity with Beading is a program sutitable for all ages, from children to elders. Students will learn to make a necklace and a bracelet. |

Exploring Creativity Using Watercolor
Everyone loves painting because everyone enjoys color. Watercolor painting has a magic of its own but some folks think it is difficult to use. When people learn to express themselves freely with watercolors the results are beautiful and exciting. We use big brushes and loads of bright primary and secondary colors. In this series of classes participants will learn to mix colors, as well as learn several different watercolor techniques including resist, wash and wet on wet.
